Had a group business dinner there. This is authentic Italian restaurant. We were in separate area just off dining area which worked out great. Pea soup was excellent. Ask for a pasta sampler as another appetizer. They made it up and it was superb. I had a steak which was one of the special items of the day. It was fantastic.
Service was superb. This is not fancy restaurant from the outside, nor is it cheap, but the dining experience was excellent. -

A I've just come back from Las Vegas for a few days and decided to see if the bronzeno was still being prepared my favorite way; cooked under a salt dome
Lately when I see Branzino on menus they claim that they are filets of Branzino. I suspect it is another fish due to fact that Everytime I have ordered filet the size of the filet could not have come from a real Branzino.
To make my point I have attached many photos of the salt dome Branzino at Palmeri
Notice the size of the fish. Maybe 3 inches across. I do not see how it would be possible to carve one large filet from that fish.
I ate at Craft last night. Against my forbidding I ordered it. That filet could not possibly have come from the real size of the fish. It was good but it was not Branzino
Branzino is my favorite fish and I order every time it's on the menu. Palmeri is the very best. -

The chef is also the owner so sweet and nice comes out and says hello making sure your experience is great.
I recommend the mouth watering steak!

I mean really??? You have a place in the heart of bentwood and your restaurant smells like a barn yard? The waiter could care less about our order and was being incredibly condescending. They were crowded which is why we thought it would have been a great idea to eat here. We were so wrong. The pasta sauce was nothing short of a watered down canned tomato sauce with zero flavor. No garlic, no basil, no salt pepper or any herbs, the beef plate was blah and the veggies were previously frozen.
$83.00 later and I felt like throwing up! Only reason for the two star is the location.
